Relative performance
Each line starts at 0% on the first day of the period.
Returns
1h to 30d, 200d and 1y come straight from CoinGecko. 60d and 90d are worked out from daily closes, so they fill in as price history loads. Click a coin for its USD, BTC and ETH charts.
Valuation
Market cap counts only circulating coins. FDV counts every coin that will ever exist. The gap between them is supply still to come.
Valuation map
Across: market cap (log scale). Up: share of eventual supply already circulating. Bubble size: 24h volume. Low and to the left means small, with most of the supply still locked.
Reading the numbers
What each figure means and what to look for. All of it updates from CoinGecko.
Priced in BTC or ETH
coin price ÷ BTC price
The same coin measured against bitcoin or ether instead of dollars. It answers "did this beat just holding BTC (or ETH)?". A coin up 10% in dollars while BTC rose 15% shows about −4% in BTC terms.
- Above 0 on the chart: outperforming the base coin.
- Tiny prices show in sats (1 BTC = 100,000,000 sats) or gwei (1 ETH = 1,000,000,000 gwei).
Market cap
price × circulating supply
What the coins trading today are worth. This is the figure rankings use. It moves with price and with new coins entering circulation.
Circulating, total and max supply
Circulating: coins that can trade now. Total: coins that exist, including locked team, investor and treasury allocations. Max: the hard cap, if there is one. ETH and SOL have no cap, so their supply can keep growing.
FDV (fully diluted valuation)
price × max supply (or total supply if there is no cap)
What the project would be worth at today's price once every coin is out. A big gap above market cap means many coins still to unlock.
MC/FDV and float
MC/FDV = market cap ÷ FDV · float = circulating ÷ total
The share of the eventual supply already on the market. This is the "ratio" column in your sheet.
- Above 80%: mostly unlocked; little dilution ahead.
- 30–80%: meaningful unlocks still to come. Check the vesting schedule.
- Below 30%: most supply is locked. Unlocks can weigh on price for years.
Unlock overhang
FDV − market cap
The value of coins not yet circulating, at today's price. Compare it with daily volume: an overhang worth many months of trading is hard for the market to absorb.
24h volume and Vol/MC
Vol/MC = 24h volume ÷ market cap
How actively the coin trades relative to its size.
- Under 1%: thin; big orders move the price.
- 3–15%: typical for liquid large caps.
- Above 25%: heavy speculation or a news event.
Dominance and distance from ATH
Dominance: the coin's share of the whole crypto market cap. From ATH: how far the price sits below its all-time high. Large drawdowns can mean cheap or broken; pair it with the supply figures.
Scale against the majors
ETH market cap ÷ coin's circulating supply
In each coin's detail: the price it would need to match ETH's or BTC's market cap at today's supply. It is a sense-of-scale check, not a forecast.
